Ann Norton Sculpture Garden

The Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc. art branch supports Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) operating foundation,  and urban oasis established in 1977 by the prominent sculpture Ann Weaver Norton (1905-1982) to reflect her vision and commitment to conservation, education, culture and community.  

The organization is devoted to exhibiting works of other artists, and preserving the founder’s studio and displaying her monumental brick and granite sculptures, some as tall as 28 feet in a secluded urban preserve where a notable collection of 250 species of tropical palms is continually being developed. 

Ann Norton was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2019. The house is listed in the National Register of historic places and is on a two acre property that lies near downtown West Palm Beach on the Intercoastal Waterway.        

The organization’s mission is to enrich the lives of visitors of all ages with nature, art and history, and to preserve the gardens as an outdoor setting for sculpture works, which also benefit the biological chain of plants, wildlife, wild animals, and birds which inhabit or seasonally migrate to the area. 

Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens provides diverse cultural and educational experiences to visitors of all ages within a two-acre tropical garden sanctuary including a nationally landmarked house and artist studio, monumental sculptures by artist Ann Weaver Norton and visiting exhibitions by artists from around the world.  It was founded in 1977 by Ann Norton to reflect her vision and commitment to conservation, education, culture and community.
