Philanthropy

BRANCH

Philanthropy is defined as the desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes. The Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc’s Philanthropy branch connects a variety of talented individuals with other organizations and philanthropists in an effort to maximize impact through orchestrated efforts. Philanthropy is important as it provides opportunities in the local and global communities. Philanthropy doesn’t just help the recipients, it offers profound life satisfaction to the giver as well.

Among the other organizations supported through combined efforts from our Philanthropy branch are through the Womens Faith Forum are Carma Foundation, Hospital Albert Schweitzer, Friends of the Orphans and NPH Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos.

Please consider donating to The Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc.’s Philanthropy branch so that we can continue to combine our efforts with others who are also giving back.

It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.  —Ralph Waldo Emerson

Women's Faith Forum

The Women’s Faith Forum was initiated by the Tree of Life Foundation International, Inc.’s founder with the vision of gathering women who are dedicated to facilitating and empowering each other’s visions, united by their faith and desire to better serve each other and those in need. The Women’s Faith Forum is committed to sharing ideas, opportunities, and experiences to create a versatile approach to advocating for the underserved, domestically and abroad.

The foundation has hosted various Women’s Faith Forum luncheons. Luncheons include over twenty five women with various missions and fundraisers. One luncheon was held at the at the Kravis Center with a performance by Melky Jean the sister of Wyclef. This particular luncheon raised gifts, talents and resources; all monies raised went back into the Carma Foundation, Hospital Albert Schweitzer and Friends of the Orphans (NPH).

Faith Farm Ministries

Faith Farm Ministries located in Boynton Beach, Florida was the recipient for both events. Faith Farm Ministries began in 1951 as a rescue mission where homeless and addicted men in the streets of Ft. Lauderdale could find a safe and loving place with “3 hots and a cot”. Since then, Faith Farm has evolved into a free, faith-based, long term, residential recovery program with 445 beds for men and women who struggle with alcohol and/or drug addiction. There are 3 campuses in south Florida with over 1,650 acres. Although each campus has a church, a thrift store, live-on staff of pastors, teachers and counselors, common curriculum and work training programs, the similarities stop there. Each campus is quite unique and features its own micro-enterprise initiatives.
